Camellia in Watercolour

Julie demonstrates each stage of interpreting this large spectacular pink flower
You will learn how to:-
* apply a base in the background of the main camellia
* Remove highlighted areas
* Apply cool and warm shades of red, wet on wet to each petal to give a vibrant glow of colour
* Paint a wet on wet background to suggest distant flowers and leaves, while creating the palest tone for the shiny leaves

You will need

Watercolours:
Cobalt or Cadmium yellow
Quinacridone magenta
Permanent rose
Pyrrole red
Phthalo blue
French Ultramarine blue
Jackman's Professional watercolour
