Weathered doorway in La Palma
Canary Islands, La Palma's capital Santa Cruz, has narrow cobbled streets and houses with colourful doorways.

You will need
Watercolours:
Cerulean or Winsor blue (green shade)
Ultramarine blue
Raw Sienna
Burn't sienna
Alizarin crimson
Brushes:
Size 8 round
Medium permanent or non permanent pen optional.
Watercolour paper:
A4-A3 size 140lb NOT (a slight texture)
Suggestion:-
Develop the scene by adding a splash of colour, perhaps a pot of bright red or pink geraniums or pink bougainvillea in just watercolour or pen and wash.
Observe the strong contrast of light and shade
White reflects its surrounds.
Leave plenty or white paper for the walls and add just hints of texture.
