Vibrant Dahlias Part 1 and Part 2

Capture the beauty of a mass of late summer flowers with both wet on dry and wet on wet techniques.
In Part 1 Julie will demonstrate how to approach a mass of flowers in a vase, commencing with the main flowers.

You will need

Watercolours:

Permanent rose
Quinacridone magenta,
Scarlet Lake

Transparent yellow
Cadmium yellow pale

Winsor blue(green shade)
Ultramarine blue

Brushes:
Size 6 & 8 round

Watercolour paper:
140lb NOT Bockingford or alternative make
size approx 38x28 cms which fits well on an A3 drawing board
Masking tape
B pencil and eraser
